Curriculum vitae
Severin Haug, PD Dr. rer. med. habil. Dr. phil. Dipl.-Psych., studierte Psychologie an der Universität Tübingen und arbeitete von 2001-2006 als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Zentrum für Psychotherapieforschung des Universitätsklinikums Heidelberg. Nach seiner Promotion im Jahr 2006 war er als Postdoktorand am Institut für Sozialmedizin und Prävention der Universität Greifswald tätig, wo er sich im Fach Epidemiologie und Sozialmedizin habilitierte.
Seit 2010 ist Severin Haug Forschungsleiter am Schweizer Institut für Sucht- und Gesundheitsforschung (ISGF) in Zürich. Seine wissenschaftliche Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit theoriebasierten digitalen Interventionen für die Behandlung und Prävention nichtübertragbarer Krankheiten und von Suchtverhaltensweisen. Im Mittelpunkt seiner aktuellen Projekte stehen digitale Lebenskompetenzprogramme zur Reduzierung des Substanzkonsums sowie Alkohol- und Tabakpräventionsprogramme für Heranwachsende.
Severin Haug verfasste über 100 wissenschaftliche Artikel in Zeitschriften mit Peer-Review und ist Herausgeber der Zeitschrift "Sucht - Zeitschrift für Wissenschaft und Praxis". Er ist als Gutachter für mehr als 50 nationale und internationale wissenschaftliche Fachzeitschriften tätig.
